Colorado Garden Foundation is proud to offer its scholarship programs from proceeds generated from the annual Colorado Garden & Home Show and Colorado Fall Home Show, to provide financial aid to students attending a college or university in Colorado. Applications are due March 15, 2024 for the 2024 / 2024 School Year.  See scholarship awards down below.

Full-Ride Scholarship

This scholarship includes tuition, fees, room & board, and all required books for the four years. In addition, the student will be given a laptop computer and printer at the start of their freshman year. Only Colorado residents can apply. The scholarship award will be for a maximum of four years. Must be an incoming freshman at a Colorado public college or university. This scholarship offered by Colorado Garden Foundation is a four-year scholarship available to an incoming freshman at a Colorado public college or university. Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship is for a full Resident Tuition, Books, and Fees for one year. Applicant must be a pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Landscape Horticulture, Floriculture, Turf grass Management, Botany, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Landscape Design, or Landscape Architecture.  Requirements include: 

  • Be enrolled in a recognized accredited college in Colorado.
  • Have completed at least 3 semesters with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Have successfully completed at least one course in Botany or Horticulture, and two courses in the fields of Soil Science, Turf Culture, Floriculture, Greenhouse Management, Arboriculture, or other plant sciences.

Graduate Scholarship

This scholarship includes Full Resident Tuition, Books, and Fees for One year. Applicant must be a graduate in the field of Horticulture, Landscape Horticulture, Floriculture, Turf grass Management, Botany, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Landscape Design, or Landscape Architecture. Requirements include:

  • Enrolled in the masters or doctorate program to further their undergraduate degree at a recognized accredited college in Colorado
  • Graduated from an accredited undergraduate program with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Have successfully completed at least one course in Botany or Horticulture, and two courses in the fields of Soil Science, Turf Culture, Floriculture, Greenhouse Management, Arboriculture, or other plant sciences
